Default No PS, No AC belt setup?

Hello, I'm about ready to start up my motor but haven't found any good info on how to arrange the drive belt with no accessories. I'm just running the Corvette alternator, water pump and balancer. I have one idler pulley now, but don't know where to put it or if I need more. Any help (or a drawing) would be really kick-***. Thanks for your time.

I ended up grabbing some steel gas pipe and length of flat steel and fabbed up a bracket to relocate my alternator. I did weld the steel pipe to the flat stock but I'm not an experienced welder at all.
Here's some ASCII art to what I did along if you're loking down and a pic.
I used existing holes in the block as well.
I think the belt was right arounf 53.5 inches but would depend on the engine and things.

What kind of car is that in? How is the idle with that setup?

It's in an Austin Healey replica that I'm putting the finishing touches on.
The idle is fine as far as running goes.
If you're referring to the idler pulley, it sits about halfway between the max and min stops.
I was worried at first that the alternator and mount would flex but there's really no play at all.
