Default Popular LS1 distributers/junkyards in New England.

I'm in Maine and I'm having a hard time finding anything close to me. I'd like to to cut down shipping costs. Does anyone have any phone numbers or websites?

I'd suggest searching Car-part.....

I bought a LQ4 (6.0l iron block) from a yard in Rhode Island about 18 months ago. Had it shipped to Maryland (and a 4L80E) for $140. Yards local to me were another $1000 higher for just the motor, and typically $400 more for the trans, so the $140 I spent on shipping saved me a bunch of money.

Also, I'd suggest you look at some of the yards in Ohio. I've seen some smokin hot deals there, and shipping shouldn't be that much more.....

Yeah I've looked at car-part and found some in Mass or farther away. I'm going to keep checking with them to see if something comes up as well as keep calling around local yards that aren't on car-part.
