Default serial 2 data line, help(pic)

this is on a 05 trailblazer 5.3, im haveing trouble with my scanner being able to communicate with the ECM, i have the C1 15 ylw wire going to the pin 2 on the DLC port... does the theft deterent or BAE need to be hooked up? if so any way i can program that out of the computer so it wont need to be hoooked up?
i do not have the high speed GMLAN serial data wires with the 121ohm resister hooked up yet, do i need to, to communicate with the ECM?

You have to hook up the LAN data lines. That's where the engine data is.

ok, i figured it out...2 things were wrong.... 1) the ylw wire pin 15, needs to be placed in pin 16.. and also like said the LAN needs to be hooked up too...thanks
