I've finally got the motor in the car (1977) but the stock AC compressor is going to be a tight if not impossible fit.
Any ideas ? I searched with no luck.

Frank youll probably have to swap to a newer style compressor and either buy the aftermarket bracket for a/c to mount it up high or fabricate your own bracket.When i did the swap i left the a/c off and now im removing the whole heater a/c box and going with aftermarket underdash setup and ill make my own bracket for the a/c.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to use the factory setup but if I can't I can't. Which aftermarket set up are you going with?
