Default F-car cooling fan high to low sequence of operation

If the fans are running on low speed as wired up in factory form. When it switches to high speed does it turn off the low speed fan output and then turn on the high speed output. Or does low speed stay activated and then it simply turns on the high speed output. Which then takes the fans out of the series parallel wiring scheme and just runs parallel. Thanks

As you say the way they are connected through the relays make them switch from serial to paralell. In serial mode they only get 6V each and there fore runs on half speed.

As it works the first fan gets ground through the second fan (serial).

In high speed mode the relay switches so that the first fan gets ground direct and the second fan gets 12V directly instead of get current feed from the first fan.

Hope this will help you understand.
