1970-73 camaro swap
i dont mean to bog donw this thread...but i am looking very specifically for any info on a 70-73 camaro with the LS1/2/6/T56 swap...
my fav car is the hotchkiss F71 camaro but you cant find $hit on it online...and its been bought off into some collectors private holing cell for life..please i am only interested in this swap right now...thanks for any and all help.

Look in the mags. Classic Chevy 5 Speed did a sweet swap into a 70 RS. I think thier was alot of write ups about it in Super Chevy.
On a personal note - I love 70-73 Camaros! I use to own a 72.

i planned on a LS2/402 w/ h/c combo and a magnacharger for mine...just dont know where to source all the parts and as i am going to be moving to NY ..Ft. Drum then i kno wi will have time to work on one...not sure what all tools are required..or any special FAB work..i just know that it is my fav year F body and my fav power train combo...so why not put them together!!! thanks! and if you have any detailed pics, or write ups, or informatioin i could use please email to whiteknight91rs@yahoo.com as i have a folder already set up so when i get my 2nd gen i can get to work right away!!

Thanks guys for the compliments. It took me around 7 months to complete. The car was finished, all I did was pull the motor and trans and install the ls1 t56. I have some pics on my photobucket account. Here is the link. http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g1...mw20/?start=20 The only major problem I ran into was the wiring. I tried to do the wiring on my harness myself and couldnt get it to run. So I sent it off to speartech and had him take care of it. I highy reccommend this. Otherwise the frame need to be cut out for the ac compressor, trans crossmember turned 180 and rewelded the mount on, and pacesetter headers. Not that hard. Here is another good pic of the car. Josh
