04 GTO Throttle control module-Bypass?
I posted this over in the Gen III internal engine thread and may this is a more appropriate place, anyway ....
I'm swapping an 04 GTO LS1 into a 69 Firebird and I have the 04 engine harness and 04 body harness. The reason I have the body harness as I'm installing the 04 GTO interior in the 69 bird also. On the body harness there is a power train interface module and a Throttle control module. I thought the 04 GTO had a throttle cable. It is not drive by wire. What is the purpose of these two modules and can I bypass them by reflashing the PCM?
Any help will be appreciated

I didnt use the bcm on my 04 GTO LS1 swap but the throttle control is a type of servo setup. The cable from the pedal goes to one part of the servo and the cable that goes to the throttle body attatches to the other part.
In short...I just connected a throttle cable straight to the throttle body and it works fine.
No advice on your interior stuff though .
