Question Serpentine Belt Dust???

Main serpentine belt seems to be aligned, but is dusting black powder excessively. Using a top mounted Street & Performance Sanden 508 compressor & pulleys with Vette accessories. No tensioner(s). Belt is tightened by the turnbuckled compressor. Material "seems" to be coming from both edges of the belt, but can't find anywhere the edges are rubbing. Any ideas???

Mine did the SAME EXACT THING. Until I tightened the belt down incredibly tight. It threw so much little rubber shavings everywhere the front of my engine looked black. But I tightened the adjuster roduntil i thought it was way too tight....and no more black dust. I never found anywhere mine was rubbing or anything either. It seems its just from it being not tight enough. Hope it works for you as well.
