full car wiring harness question 98 ls1
i just got a 98 3800 camaro. im putting everything out of my 98 z28 parts car into it. can i swap out fuel system and the engine harness and dash cluster or do i have to swap every bit of the wiring harness?

If I remember right, I think you can just use a 98 engine harness. IIRC the 98-02s had the same body harnesses and stuff so all you have to do is just swap the engine harness. There is a chart floating around somewhere that tells everything you need to swap on different year fbody's.

I noticed that there are 3 lines for the gas lines. on the ls1 there are 2. is the connectors for the gas tank gonna be the same? i have an ls1 fuel system to put in the car but i didn't know if there was a difference for the wiring.

The V6 cars had a return and the LS1 cars did not. Just transfer the entire fuel system including the lines and you will be fine.
While the body harness is basically the same between the V6 and V8, there are differences. I would recomend getting a Helms manual to help you.
