Has anybody ever used the '07 and newer 5.3 Votec RPO code LMG or LC9 with active fuel management and flex fuel capability for a swap?
any experiences in connection with wiring and related problems?

active fuel management
partly I can understand you.... I live in Germany we pay 8.84USD for a gallon of gas. E85 sells for 5,52USD a gal so every little bit that reduces the fuel burnt helps. I like to keep my '97 Tahoe. The conversion is my way to get better fuel mileage. The drivetrain of the Tahoe will be sold and has to pay for the swap.... so far the theorie.

old geezer (or was it geezers garage?) Is currently swaping an LH6 (LC9 w/o flex fuel) into a BMW. The last status i had was that everything is working. And since the late model Flex-Fuel control is software (reading from the O2 Sensors only).... i supose there is no problem.

Some else is swaping in a LC9 6l80 combo, but i cant find the link right now

sorry to raise a older thread, but I've been thinking of swapping a AFM 5.3L into a 92 camaro to use as a DD. I think you could do the swap pretty cheap and get around 35mpg with a little weight reduction and possibly enabling lean cruise. would make a kick *** DD
