skip shift threads
I have a T56 that I bought from Six Speeds, but they didn't supply anything in the various soleniod holes. I have everything filled except the skip-shift hole. Since I don't plan to wire it, I just need to plug the hole.
Does anyone know what the threads are on the skip-shift solenoid? I have tried an M20x1.5, M22x1.5, 1/2"BSPP, and a few other odds and ends, but nothing seems to fit.

Threads in "Skip Shift" Hole
M20 x 1.5 fit my T-56 CAGS port just fine.
Try Dorman # 090-040 or #090-040.1. This is the M20-1.5 threaded oil drain plug for a 1986/83 Horizon (4 cyl. - 1.6 l).
Many thanks to boardmember "onebad82z" for the above info.
You may choose to swap the Dorman hard fiber gasket for an o-ring.

Thanks! I found an M20x1.5 plug - it is way too short and doesn't have the right beveled shoulder for a seal, but it shouldn't see much pressure. Nothing that a little RTV caulk can't fix.
