LS1 & Procharger in a G-body??????
Has any one done a ls swap in a g-body with a procharger? If so what brackets did you use? f-car, gto, c5, etc. Pictures would be very helpfull.
Seriously considering a 408 with a F1 in my 87 T-type. Looking for 9's on pump gas.
Thanks in advance.

mine isnt a g body, its an a body, 69 chevelle-dont know how much diff steering box placement , etc is-i used a vette acces drive, and used a partial vette procharger setup, procharger sheetmetal intercooler with a carb, and 8 rib conv.-i used the vette setup because i was affraid of steering box clearance-i started out with an lq 4 engine, added forged rods/pistons, stock 317 heads and ls6 cam-i have since ordered pat heads/cam, but done have them yet-i have seen 13 lbs boost so far, still tweaqin the afr's, but might make a pass with the ex setup just to see what it will do before/after
it wont let me post a pic this morn, but i have posted them b4

im not actually positive, BUT i have done a lsx swap in a g-body and i would have to assume that using the corvette mounting bracket would be the way to go because it puts the unit on the top passenger side of the motor, versus down low (like an f-body) and i know the clearences are tight with the alternater with the fbody set-up as its close to the steering box.

I think APP said the GTO kit would be close as well. What brackets do you have, car accessories? I think you could shim the corvette stuff and make it work and not swap everything out...?

I will be keeping an eye on this one myself. I plan on going the LSX/Procharger route on a Monte SS here in the near future and want to make it as easy as possible for myself.
