Default Evap solenoid

I was going to use the F-body Evap solenoid in my S10 since
it has a 2 real nipples and my new intake doesn't have a spot
for the stock S10 Evap solenoid anymore.

My question, though, is how the F-body Evap is plumbed? My
S10 has the incoming line from the fuel tank and the other end
of the solenoid directly into the intake. The F-body Evap has
a label of CAN on one of the nipples. Should I still be able to
use the solenoid? Would I run the CAN nipple to my intake like
it would have been on the S10 intake?

Default

The port that is on one side by itself and in the center is the one that goes to the Throttle body port and the othe one with the casting of CAN goes to the Fuel Tank vent tube. The Electrical connection is on the same side.

In order for the EVAP valve to work correctly, it get activated by the PCM with inputs from the Fuel Tank Pressure and fuel level sensors that are on the fuel tank.
