Default Aftermarket fuel rails with vette filter/reg?

I have an 01 LQ4 with an LS1 intake manifold and fuel rail. The truck coils are in the way of the fuel inlet on the fuel rail. A lot of guys bend the inlet to gain access but I was wondering about aftermarket rails. Will they work in a single feed situation using the vette filter/reg or do all aftermarket rails need their own regulator?

Yes.. you would be able to use after market Fuel Rails with the inlet on one of the ends being feed by a single line from the Vette FPR.

Many will use a aftermarket regulator for adjustablity due to higher levels of engine output and higher fuel requirements, or just for the looks.

I run Speed Inc fuel rails on an LS6 intake with truck coil packs on my 5.3. I had the same issue that you are having, and that was the reason I went with aftermarket rails. I am really glad I did.

I'm in the club of coil pack interference. I just cut the line off where it straightens out and welded on a -06 adapter. Nice and cheap, problem solved.

I have a mig. What material is the rail? Did you use a mig?
