408/TH400 in a 93-97 fbody?
I am thinking about getting a cheap V6 Fbody 93-97 and making a good street car.Main things will be Moser m9 with 3.73s/ Th400 with 3600 stall and a callies stuffed LQ9 408. I know this has been done before I was just hoping people could tell me what the main pita's are and any surprises that I might not be aware of. Thanks, John

With the LS1 k-member you will also need a new power steering rack. The 93-97 will not work with the LS1. Let me know if you need one, I have a brand new LS1 rack for sale.
You will need all the LS1 F-body accessories, PS pump, alternator, water pump etc..
The early cars have a return style fuel system, you will have to upgrade your LS1 with a regulator and rails, or make the car into a returnless system. Probably want to upgrade the fuel pump while you are it.
The wiring shouldn't be too bad.
For the TH400 I used a 93-97 T56 trans crossmember, with the Spohn shim and poly mount, worked out perfect, reused the stock shifter for now.
