Default Odd question about an ls1/3rd gen rx7 swap

I just sold my camaro and was looking into doing one of these swaps or buying a half way done one or something. Anyway, the problem is I'm 6'6". I've riden shotgun in a 3rd gen before, but that was years ago and +50 lbs. I used to have an e30 bmw, which is pretty small as well, and I was pretty comfy in that with the stock recaro's. Is it possible with aftermarket seats/brackets to gain a little extra room if need be?

Thanks

You might want to search over at rx7club.com. There are a few threads over there about mid 6-footers mounting seats directly to the floor and being able to drive them. If I was 6'6" I would look for a different car though because they are pretty small.

Aftermarket seats in the FD RX7 will almost always cost you headroom.

I'm 6'2 and I fit fine in either FC or FD with room to spare. 6'6" is going to be pushing it awfully hard. Seats bolted straight to the floor and a smaller steering wheel would probably cut it.
