Questions on a conversion engine bay setup
When doing an LSX conversion, do you normally keep the cars original radiator setup? If you are keeping the A/C, the original condenser? Just as an example, if you were to do the conversion on an 87 Grand Prix with a 305 Chevy engine to a 5.3 LS, and the rad/cond are in good shape.

2 things:
Pull the rad. and see what corrosion is apparent near the lower hose connection. It will be worse than what can be seen up top. Flow at the bottom will be worse too. A third gen F radiator will be fine and fit well.
The 78-88 condensors were drivers side outlets if they had a SBC/4.3. The vast majority of LS engines have a passenger side compressor, so it makes sense to go for the passenger side outlets. The G-body passenger outlets were a bit higher, so I prefer the F-body third gen condensor. The bracket that supports the outlets needs tweaking so the lines clear air ducting flaps on some core supports.
