Default Crucial stop washer for top

I've got a '69 Chevelle convertible that I'm in the process of restoring. Got the engine in (2004 GTO LS1) and have started working on the top. After some examination it was discovered that a crucial "stop washer" for top adjustment was missing. This is a very specialized part: 1" wide with a slot that takes a carriage bolt and the washer has groves on one side to grab onto groves on the body frame. I've attached two pics, one shows just the washer & carriage bolt, and the other shows where it lives - toward the back side of the convertible frame assembly

(there is one on each side) denoted by the red arrow in the pic.

Does anyone know where I can locate such a part? I've spent hours on the web with no success and, when inquiring how much it would cost to get made at a metal shop, I was told $120 - obviously a non-starter. Any/all help is appreciated.

Have you looked into possibly performance years? They are a Pontiac supplier but they do have some oddball stuff or might know a person or shop that could help ya. I doubt gm used different parts for tops amongst their different brands.....

Maybe try some old wrecking yards? When I was into older mopars I sourced a lot of used parts from Desert Valley Auto Parts.
