Default tps sensors. Delete?

I do not want to run my tire pressure sensors on my c5. I will be running c6 wheels with out sensors. Is there a way to delete them out of my system so they stop throwing up the service warning on my dash?

Why not move the TPS from the C5s to the C6s? Many people are running C6 wheels with C5 TPS on their C5s without problems.

I don't think you can do it on the 00's. Not sure though. There's a early set of years for the C5's where you can't delete the TPS's from the computer. Minor inconvenience though, you just hit reset on the DIC whenever you start the car.

I have been hitting the reset button this entire time. They are good for about 8 yrs and I really dont need them. I would just rather put in regular valve stems and non run flat tires. Saves weight! If anyone can figure out a way to knock them off so I wont have to keep hitting the reset button everytime I drive my car i would appreciate it!

Thanks,

With a 2000 you maybe able to do it with the tech II. I know in my 98 that it can not be done.

I am in need of a set of TPS dead or alive, please pm me if any of you have a set!!

Also the 01+ are the only models that can have the system deleted via a tech II tool from the dealer.
