Went to the drag strip yesterday for the first time
well...first time this year at least and its freaking October!!! time to put the car away in a couple weeks so i thought i'd take it out one last time. took time away from work too during a REALLY busy time so my boss was not happy. BUT, this was the outcome.
This car:
Ran these times. this was two if my three qualifying passes. Ended up taking 5th place out of 48 entries. Glad i skipped work! :rofl:

i am running m/t et streets (slicks). i would not waste time with drag radials, i ran them in the past. if you can get some spare rims and buy those slicks, it is def worth the money. i bought my setup for 450 shipped. i had a CCW drag pack before which i sold for good money. but those worked the same. i was only able to manage 11.00s with the drag pack.

the ccw skinnies i had wieghed damn near equal to my daily ccw fronts. so no diff there. the rears i guess didn't matter either since they were the identical size and tire.
either way...yea, a good day at the strip. Car is put away now for the season. already miss it!!!
