New personal best at altitude, N/A
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1st time to a high altitude track with the 416 in the car and beat my previous PB by a full second and 7mph. (that was a few years ago with the H/C LS6 and 3.90 gears in the car). I couldn't be happier with the ET, but could get it lower if I could get the 60' time down to a 1.5. The track was hooking big time today and I just kept bogging the car on the launch, and the one time I came out at 5500+ rpm it spun hard enough I had to lift to gain traction and that killed the run. Here's a pic of the slip:
Verified the D/A with the weather service at the time of the run and did the noted conversion at Dragtimes website.
A friend was there with his 434ci LS7 C6Z and got his new PB also, a 10.98@130 and his run was later in the morning than mine and the D/A at that time was right at 6000". (that's at least a low 10 sec run at sea level)

Thanks for all the positive responses guys! I'm happier about this run than the 10.7 @ 130 I ran at Firebird back in March! With the ridiculous DA's we get here in CO the car just doesn't feel very fast, so to rip off an 11.20 in 5800 DA conditions I even surprised myself! I would have been happy with an 11.50.
Kevin,
I can't wait to see what your car will do if you can get it to MIR for a rental this fall with the DA at zero or less. I KNOW with decent traction you should see low 10's at 135+!
Doug,
Do not hesistate to get the Tick...the install is a pain in the *** but the result is well worth the time and effort!

congrates! Great run for sure. I have had driven my Z06 in colorado and man the car felt alot slower. Came back to illinois and the car was sooooo much faster. Nonetheless you got a fast *** car to be running those times. Low 10's for sure down in the altitude, if not high 9's with a killer 60'.

Thanks for the input and again congrats on your runs Jim. My car is sitting at D&D Performance we'll say since I can't mention Donnies shop by name. Donnies dad runs the front which is D&D performance and he with the help of Travis run the back. Nice to have a local alternative with cheap labor rates for the little stuff. I'll let you know how she shifts post TICK install.
