Default Thinking about swapping CAM

Well I've been thinking about changing the cam n my 56k miled 01 z06 but don't know how to go about doing it. all I know is that I would really like to do it my self but not sure on the direction to go. I read a lot about different things to do but no links like on step by step on how to do it, also what should be changed while changing the cam?i was thinking of getting the whole kit with springs and push rods while im doing it just to be on the safe side, if anyone has info or tips ect..... please help I'm all ears . Thanks
