Was wondering,, are factory C6 Z06 polished aluminum wheels clear coated from the factory? And how well do they hold up clean/shine wise?

The factory wheels must have some type of coating on them. The brake dust and dirt wipe right off. My wheels are almost 9 years old and look brand new. My car only has 5,300 miles though. I think they do look good for a very long time. I've been around a bunch of C6's and as long as they don't get curbed they seem to maintain a nice finish.
