Results of MTI Heads and Cam Package with Sound Clip!
I just picked up my car from MTI today. Stock with a Blackwing and B&B PRT cat back it dyno'ed 309rwhp and 321ft/lbs torque.
Had MTI install:
Kooks LT's and 3" X-pipe with hi-flow cats
Stage 2E hand ported LS1 heads
C2 Cam 224-581-112LSA
Comp "R" Lifters
Manley Push Rods
Underdrive Pulley
MTI Catch Can
Finished with a complete wide-band dyno tune.
Results: 417rwhp and 395ft/lbs torque Needless to say I'm very happy Now if it would just stop raining
Link to a sound clip of idle with a rev.

Looks good Tom. I know you are glad to have her back. The cruise to Round Top on Sat was good, but way too many black bugs on everyones car.I spent this morning getting it cleaned up.I really liked the video. It would be interesting to see what it dynos in the winter when the temp is in the mid 40's.I think I will try that with mine and see what the difference is when it is cool compared to what it did in May.

MTI rocks, they took real good care of my WS6 and she plains hauls ***! I love it. Got good numbers N/A and on spray! Jayson and crew are top notch. You pay for what you get. Enough said. Good luck!!
You need to get alittle TNT on it

I got to take the vette out for a short drive today. It runs awesome, crazy power. First gear at any rpm just blows the tires off, second will also if you hit it above 3500rpm. Into 3rd it gets squirely also. Can you say no traction, this thing would fly if it could hook up but I'm not into drag radials, etc. So I'll just keep on spinning. I can not imagine what the guys that are putting down over 500rwhp do.

Blaze...nice choice. Your car is what I want mine to be some day. A question, would your H/C package be too much for me and my daily driver? (I have a 04, auto, coupe, 3.15) How many miles a year on average will you be putting on your vette? Thanks for the info and video....

Dave1 - thanks. My car is not a daily driver although the mod's have done little to change the driveability of it. Mine is a M6 with 3:42 factory gears.
With an MTI tune you should have no issues with everyday driveability.

That is almost the same exact set-up as I had the first package. I had TEAs stage 2 heads with the same cam as you have.
My result were almost identical to yours.
414 rwhp and 397 rwtq.
Mine stock with a black wing filter did 324 and 344 with the stock catback.
My 414 heads and cam was also using the stock catack with MTI x-pipe and headers. We found very little gain using an aftermarket catback with this setup.

I have over 27,000 miles on my MTI H/C package and I don't drive it daily" but I travel to different states and race it as well as racing it all over Texas" it's one tough package .

Congrats, I bet your happy...LOL! I can't wait to get my cam next week. I am taking my car to MTI to get the G1 cam. It should do well on a LS6 motor with the split cam biast towards the exhaust. I'll post my numbers next week when I get it done.
