Default Factory plugs for a C5 built in the spring of 1999??

I bought my car last year with 12k miles, it was originally leased. Today I pulled out all the plugs and they are NGK platinum plugs. I thought all the stock plugs were AC?

I cant see why anyone would have changed the plugs with less than 12k miles.

Hi Eric, remember that GM strike of 98? AC Delco crippled GM that summer and some engines received the NGK plugs as replacements. I work for GM myself and that was the story I heard. Later
