Default wheel sensors info

have anyone had problems with the wheel sensors of 97-99 c5. took original wheels off and replaced with new tires and wheels. didn't put the sensors back in, now having probles with DIC computer and dash. i their a reason for this, can anything be resetted or do i need to put sensor back on wheel. any suggestions!!!!anyone.....

You have to hit reset everytime you start the car without the sensors in. I don't the 97-99 can be turned off but after 00 I think you can have the sensors turned off with a tech II.

The 97-00 PCM had the sensors permanently turned on the the firmware. 01+ PCMs had that function moved to the tunable software area. Without the sensors you have to live with the DIC codes, after while you automatically hit the reset button.
