I was considering the same thing (for some time in the future). I already asked DTE if they have a brace design in the works for the A6, and they do. That and hardened output shafts I would think is definitely required.
As far as the transmission, I guess we may have to find out the hard way what it can and can't handle.
I have yet to see a supercharged C6 that has an A6. Tony's is a 2005 with M6. Perhaps you can be my guinea pig.

There was a video on the net of a procharged yellow A4 C6 running low 10's
with a stall converter, not sure what has been done to the motor.
I have it saved on my old puter, if you want I can plug it back in and
try and find it.

that would be nice..
well the car isnt mine, its a customer of mine. he doesnt want to put on a blower and then break something. he is not looking for a drag car or a track car just something with some go and show. i figured that the auto would save the rear but i am worried about the trans.

ehh... whenever you add 200rwhp to a car with a stock drivetrain you're severely shortening it's life, how much can be anyone's guess. My philosophy is make SURE you can hold the power before you have it... but I guess I'm a wuss like that.

no that is what the guy wants, he wants the car to hold the power, he doesnt want to put the blower on and break something. but i was hopeing that on 6lbs of boost he should be good.
P.S. Ed that C6 is sick. i wish my car could take off like that.

There are quotes over on Corvette forum that the A6 is rated at 520ftlbs, so should be fine. Callaway has a twin turbo running on an A6, so generally no problems. But, modding means breaking stuff eventually, so who knows...could pop day one, could last 5 years. If he wants factory reliability (with all the warranty has to offer), a supercharger shouldn't be high on the list.
As for the yellow car running 10s...that's on stock internals and 9psi (per the guy that ran it and posted on CF).
