Default Officially a Vette Owner!! Story and Pics inside!

Well guys, I can now say im a Vette owner and it feels GREAT!! Tuesday I picked up my 2003 Black/Black Z06 with only 16,000 miles on it! Got it for about 33 and put 18 down (thats what I got back for my camaro) I am seriously speechless when it comes to this car. It is just amazing. And driving the thing is a whole nother story! This thing drives so damn nice. I am very proud of myself for getting this and its a great addidtion to the family of toys! I like to think of it as the camaro's angel cause this thing is so damn nice.

I took some quick pics of her and im real sorry bout the sh*tty quality and how blurry it is! but you can see she is a beauty! I will have more pics up soon when i figure out this camera.

P.S. I just wanted to ask a quick question. I have a BUNCH of Royal Purple 1030 synthetic oil sitting around from the camaro with a K&N oil filter. I believe its a 1007. Now I was wondering if that same Oil Filter will fit on this car. I know its a LS6 compared to the LS1, but i do want to run that stuff cause it worked outstanding in the F-bod. OR would i be better to run 530 in it? I just want to be on the safe side and have it run the best. but im more worried about the oil filter.

Once again sorry bout the pics!!
Im completely in love with this car. Best ride I have ever owned and it feels great!

Thanks alot for the input fella's!

Awesome car man, I'm wishing I'll make that upgrade someday... but for the next few years it's gonna be a huge downgrade to public transit.... boohoo.

Congrats man, you are going to love the Z. 10w30 will be fine, I run 10w30 Amsoil in my Z. Enjoy the new ride.

...and yes, blue wire is correct, you'll be fine with the heavier oil weight. LSx's tend to burn some oil...nothing wrong with adding a heavier weight....I did the same thing myself with mobil one.

The only thing better than a nice Corvette, is a Corvette with cheap payments

That $18K down sure will make the car more enjoyable each month!

Congrats, your car payment shouldn't be a thing.... it's the insurance that sneaks up on you. I have way too many tickets but it's well worth the ride.

My car insurance went up like $10/year (virtually nothing) going from a 99 Trans Am to a 2001 Z06, so from my experiences the insurance on these cars are relatively very cheap. Just a great car all around, thats a lot more practical than most people think.
