Default More HP - Stock Manners and Durability

Here is my plan:

Mods: LS6 P&P heads milled to provide 11:1 compression; LS6 Intake; LG Street Series headers; dyno tune.

Do you think I will hit rwhp around 380?

Has anyone done something like this?

I know that I can get allot more with a cam. I don't wish to change the cam. I want to maintain stock like manners and durability. So, any comments specific to my plan and questions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Danny

I know you said you don't want to do a cam swap but with p/p heads, you aren't going to see the maximum potential of heads with stock cam. There are number of cams that doesn't lope and behaves very close to stock cam but will give you lot more power.

You could probably go as big as TR 224/224 114 LSA cam which behaves very close to stock cam but will add lot more power than stock cam.

Just bit of food for thought.

A big part of getting a cam is having an awesome tune to go along with it. Bad tunes from inexperienced tuners ruin 98% of cam installs. I used a 230/224 cam and aside from the sound it drove like a normal car.
