Best cold air kit for C5
Hey guys,I know there are several good cold air kits out there, but just trying to get some opinions on what may be the best, and also how much gain in HP should be expected,I figured about 5 to 10 does this sound about right.THANKS!

The Halltech Tric cold air intake was and is the king-of-the-hill. Not made any more; hard to find. But the fastest. See my signature.

I without question reccomend the RAPTOR XXL I bought it used off of another forum member for under 200 and is the best cai that I have ever seen, the filter is about 20some odd inches wide.... and comes with a new air bridge and everything, it is freaking awesome... no numbers on it but wow, I am also considering cutting away the plastic guard below it and making a box around the filter for more cold air... mod bug is eating me and my bank account alive, over 4k in the 2 months that I have owned the car.

My vote is for the Vararam. Best time with the Vararam, LT's and Dr's was 12.20 with a stock internals motor. Previous best with the Blackwing was 12.5X, but the Blackwing does not draw cold air.
As for HP, not real sure. I prefer track numbers to dyno numbers.
