Help with Axle Hey any of you guys with a C6 or C5 manual or a big brain. Can you tell me how to split the outer CV joint on a Vette axle? I've got a split boot on my C6. I took the boot off and the small end is toward the center of the axle. Obviously, I'm not going to get the new boot over the big end. So, I think I need to drive off the spider dealio. I'd like to confirm this before I go whacking on it with my 5lb hammer. Also, any tips on how to seperate?
