Service column lock message... What causes and intermediate Column lock error message? The car has already had the recall done and the steering wheel doesn't lock when this happened. I let the car sit for about ten minutes and then re-started it and no message. Any ideas?

All of the CL recalls are BS. None of them seem to work 100% of the time.
Your best bet is to install a column lock bypass module. Install it and forget it. You won’t have any more issues.
