Heres the story. I was driving down I-35 S at about 2 a.m. Was goin about 80ish. When right in the middle lane was a huge tree branch. Long story short ran over it, ripped off the left 1/3 of the bottom rubber thing of the bumper, and today when i thought everything was ok this falls out while im backin up. Please help!!

The last pic has a part number on it. I typed it in at gmpartsdirect.com and it says "Wheel Brake Cylinder/Caliper" and description says "DUCT". Hope this helps.

It is the air duct to help cool the brake caliper. Each side has one. Remove the other buttom cover and you will see the other one that is still intact. Not having it installed will not prevent you from driving the car, but I would have it reinstalled.
