Default 2008 Vette Clutch?

A good friend is about to order a new Corvette M6 and has a concern about the clutch gabbing to high on the peddle travel for his liking. Is this adjustable? I have heard that the peddle will grab lower in time-is that true? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill

Just picked up a C6ZO6 Saturday (2008, 14 miles) and the clutch is extremely sensitive. It's really hard to baby it without jerking badly from launch, seems like it's either in or out, not alot of slippage. Also, the release is all towards the floorboard I'd say in the first 3 inches of being fully depressed. Just my experience with one car though, haven't driven a C6 other than this one.

you barely have to depress it on mine....only minimal effort is needed to engage/disengage

I second that. My 08 feels nice and easy.I push it all the way down, because that's what I'm used to doing, but I don't have to. I can barely push in on it, like Jimmy mentioned, and it's active.

Engage/disengage effort isn't heavy, but I find my vette much more tricky to drive smoothly than my F-body. Some have suggested using the C5 spring as helpful.
