Default Thinking of buying a 90 350tpi 6sp vette..thoughts

I've always wanted a vette and I think I might start with the l98 350...I've read pretty good reports from consumers on them...I know they are only a mid 14second car and they are all torque...but how is the handling, ride quality etc....I've never really liked the lt1 engine due to all of it's problems...and I can't afford an ls1 toy vette right now..

I like the '90/91 models the most out of the TPI years...

They changed the dash that year('90)... and the 6 speed is a much better tranny than the older 4+3.

I'd get one as a nice project.... add some cheap go fast parts, budget paint, and some nice wheels you could have something that looks hot.

I'd say go for it!!

If you like the LT1 styling, then go with a '91.

It'd make a great car for road racing.

For a little more money, get a 92 to 96 LT1. They are much better than the TPI earlier vesion and really are not that much more.
