Door bars. I just went and looked a school that I will be atteneding in the fall term, but the parking lot is full of cars. I just had my Camaro painted free of dents and scrathes. I was talking to my dad and said back in the day Corvettes had a pole that hook on the rear fender and went to the front inner fender to prevent a door banging into the fiberglass doors and cracking them. Does anyone know what I am talking about, if so where can I get some of these to modify to fit on my Camaro? I would in tears if someone loser it my car.

I have been around for many decades and have never seen such a thing on any Corvette.
If I were you I would buy a beater or a motorcycle and keep the Camaro in a garage.
