First time at track with T/A
Went to Farmington Dragway 1/8 mile and only made 2 runs. Car is a 2000 T/A A4 with just a lid and mufflers and 3.23 gears with street tires. I left the car in 3rd gear.
Now I launched it by holding the brake to 1000 rpms then mashing the gas. Not sure if thats the best way to launch these stock cars.
R/T:.540 .170
60':2.067 2.098
330':5.885 5.906
1/8ET:8.923 8.915
1/8MPH:83.07 83.88
I know, not very good, but I could be wrong, something doesnt seem to add up here. There was also a new Nissan GTR there running high 7s around 94 mph and a SRT-8 Challenger running around 8.7 at 84/85 mph.

My dad was down there at the swap meet. As stock as you are I wouldn't expect a whole lot better than 8.5x. If you get serious you'll need a stall and some drs. 3.73 wouldn't hurt either. I saw a red GTR in line @ Zmax tnt but didn't get to see what it ran.

Okay, so I didnt realize the elevation of the track is 1200ft. I calcualted it to around a 8.6. Nothing special, but at least I know it wasnt all driver error.
