Default new best, 12.5, bolt ons

Just got a new best after getting retuned, 12.57 @ 112.49 with a 2.09 60ft.
i was getting 12.6's @ 113 all day and finally got a good 12.5 in. All I pretty much have is headers, I'm hopin for 12.3s

that's a strong car if all you've got is headers. You need a stall and some ET Street's on a 15" wheel and you may see some deep 11's (if you're any good).

yea good times, your 60' is whats slowing you down now, a stall alone and some tires will get high ya 11's

Thanks guys, and it is a M6, im keeping my steet tires on there, im not launching it any harder until i have a 9".

Nice times man. A friend of mine ran that same time with just about the same car, M6 with full exhaust and I was really impressed with it then. I wish there were more good drivers out there to represent these 6-speeds!

Man your power numbers seem very high! I have the same mods in my 99 trans am m6, I even have ebays headers also. I dynoed last week on a dynojet at 343rwhp and 357rwtq. Wonder how you have such higher dyno number?? Great time man!

i dont think the numbers are high think a cam swap is 40-50rwhp so 50+366=416 thats on par with a m6 cammed f body

That's a pretty general comparison. 366 is about on par with a strong running full bolt on M6 in decent conditions. And is on the VERY high side for a car with only headers and cutout. Doesn't really matter though as dyno numbers can easily be skewed, but track times speak the truth

okay I keep hearing about these ebay headers, I am looking for headers and want some more info on these ebay headers. Has anybody done a before and after dyno with these and exactly what brand are they?

great times man... i have headers and no tune and took my car to the track for the first time this weekend and only got 13.2 BUUUUUUUUUUUT i only got one good race on and was launching VERY easy on my 10 bolt... my 60' was horrible i got a 2.3 i know i could of easily gotten it to a 2.1 but the line was very looong so ima wait for another weekend and go... im shootin for 12.9 but im on bald sumitumos... GREAT TIMES THOUGH!!! congrats!
