Default My first time to 1/4 mile

Well a couple months back I decided I want to see how my car runs in the 1/4 mile. As I pulled into the track, my odometer hit 118k. I run bfg drag radials 295 width. Running 15psi, 3.73 gear, intake, full exhaust, tune, big bore throttle body this was my best slip, race 7 of 8 that night. Hopefully next year I can break into the 12s once I lose my washer fluid bottle and maybe lighten it a little...my car is still full weight. I'm still very new to this so if you guys have any input I'm all ears.

I was in Left Lane

I don't get out to the track all that often and now that fall's here I doubt i'll get up there until next year. I tried getting a better 60' time but I don't know what is stopping me. I hook like crazy...maybe i'm not leaving at a high enough RPM. My tach is busted so I'm guessing that I leave around 3500-4000. It's a stock 10 bolt so I don't wanna do too much damage. When you say bypass the PS, do you mean power steering? If so, i want to keep that because it is driven on the street as a daily. I was thinking of losing the a/c, maybe the passenger airbag and I was going to use a tubular k-member upper and lower A-arms. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.
