First time at the track after many mods.... So, went to Atco last week to try and learn the new setup...car has the following (2000 SS M6):
VXR5 cam
LS6 intake
crappy MAF (tuner said it barely worked when they tried to tune it)
Hooker headers
Moser 12 bolt w 4:10s
M/T 275/40/17 DRs on stock wheels
UMI LCAs, Panhard and subframes
My best 60' was a 1.81, best MPH was 112, but I couldn't put together a complete run. Everytime I got a good 60', I missed a shift, or did something else dumb lol. My best ET was only a 12.7 @110 or so, with a 2.0x 60'.
I'm hoping to get down to mid, maybe low 12s as it sits.
The cam/suspension/tires are all new- so its basically like learning to drive a new car.
Any thoughts? What would you think the lowest ET i could squeeze outta this thing would be w/ a full weight car trapping 110-112 range?
Keep in mind it put down 370whp on a dynojet, and has zero weight reduction.
