Default New PB, 12.2@110...

So I went to the track today....DA was much better than it has been every other time I've gone. It was about 1800 today. My race weight was 3500 lbs. even.

I've been struggling since I started going to the track to do a decent burnout....couldn't quite get it right. A couple of my buddy's have been coaching me through it so I could improve. Well, I finally nailed it today! The slip on the left was the last time I went to the track and my last personal best. The slip on the right was from today.

My goal is to hit 11's w/ stock internals. I'm going to add some 3.73 gears and an UD pulley this winter...as well as delete the AC....I'm hoping all that will get me an 11.8-11.9 pass come next spring...

Mods are in my sig. Let me know what you think?

Drag radials? Work on what rpm works best for your setup. Lower DA and you might hit it the way the car sits.

You probably don't need to delete the A/C unless you really want to. With a good DA/ UD pulley and 3.73 rear, the 11.8-11.9 is in the bag.

yeah...i planned on deleting the A/C to begin with so it will just be an added bonus. I was leaving at about 1800 rpm since i could never hook otherwise....but once i got a good burnout in i flashed the converter off idle and got that 12.2....

Try powerbraking to 1200 and flashing it. Get some Mt Drag radials and I bet you can run a 12.1-12.0 NOW. Get those sixty foots down!!

Nice job on the 12.2
