Hey guys, It's been a while since I have been around but I thought you might enjoy the LSX coverage from this weekend NMCA in Bradenton. A friend Andrew and I are shooting the event.

Robert Stong runs an 87 Monte in ERL All Motor which a little different than the rest of the cars in class. Strong is based out of Pensacola, Florida with family run operation. Erik Konig from HK Racing Engines out of Texas took care of the machine work and Robert handled the engine assembly himself. The engine uses the canted alve Mozes heads with a Beck sheet metal intake topped with two Pro System SV1's. Johnny B from Pro Sytems was here yesterday helping out some of the customers including Strong who is very pleased with the results and is making some suspension adjustments this morning to take advantage of the improvement. Strong started with the LSX series running True Street, as with many racers the urge to go faster hit and here he is running a premier class. The new bullet was fired up just last Satuday with the first runs here at Bradenton. Pictured from left to right, son Chris, wife Bobbie and Robert Strong.

Josh Ledford out of the LMR camp talked with me this morning about the Fereday's ride, mentioning they are verly pleased with the switch to a Pro Torque converter, which is running about 4% slip through the top end. they are going to send it back to Joe for a slight adjustment to help keep the engine RPM up during the shift. the other issue they are having is the exhaust tubing cracking. It is a few years old and aluminum and will be replaced before the next event in Atlanta.

Here is the link for today's coverage, FYI there is a little drop down box at the top which navigates to the other days and the gallery.

In a squeaker final Adam Preston comes from behind to take the win from Paul Falcon in a race that went to the computer for the decision as you see below the ET numbers are identical.

Andy Essary put up a 7.41 in the Drag Radial final earning the win over Koehler who has slowed down from his qualifying times the last couple of rounds today.
