1st test of OVRMYHD, what would she do on slicks?
My Dad, my wife and myself all raced her on day 1 at the track. Below is a video of my wife's 3rd and last pass of the day (12.44). The best time of the day was a 12.05 at 115.8 mph on a 1.91 60 ft. time. The best mph was 116.3 on a 12.25 run with a 2.0 60 ft. On most of her 15 runs she spun the tires until after hitting 2nd gear (4l60e with 3,600 edge stall).
We were running her on wore out Nitto's at 18-20 psi and launching very gently yet still blowing the tires off thru 1st gear. The car has single adjustable QA1's up front that were set to 1, sub-frame connecters (bolted and welded), a Spohn adjustable torque arm mounted to the spohn crossmember (I believe the angle to be -2.5 degrees??), LCA's and LCA relocation brackets, the rear springs are the stock WS6 GTA springs with 256,000 miles on them and the rear shocks have been replaced with new Monroe's (I think- my memory sucks).
She weighs 3,180 with 3/4 tank of gas without driver and the battery has been relocated to the trunk.
I believe that she is a high 10 to very low 11 second car. Considering the da was over 2,000 and the traction issues, how close am I to 10's with traction?
My builder says to put 15 inch drag lites on it with 15 x 11.5 slicks. What do you think she'll do if a 1.5 60 ft can be pulled out of her?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2elSRhtF0Bg
She won't be going back down the 1/4 mile until slicks are on her.
