new pb heads cam c6 but low trap mph
My Dyno graph is the 7th post on the first page. I am roughy 5800rpm going through the traps at 117. If I was at the estimated 123 mph(based off my pre heads/cam trap speed avg of 117.5) i'd be at 6070rpm. I'd hope I'd pick up 5mph with a 86rwhp/53rwtq gain everything else being equal. I know I will restall the circle d at some point either this summer or over winter and go to a better dr after I burn these up this summer

A few thoughts..
--Tire height is pretty similar, don't see it as a big issue.
--Longer burnout at least for the first pass. I use paddles and go from M1 to 2, 3... Then back to S.
--I have been running my NT05Rs at 20 psi. Best 60 is 1.58 last RSD.
--SI I ran Circle D 3200. Added H/C and changed converter to CD 4C. At least a 3800.
--I made peak at 6350. Shifting at 6800 so far. My best MPH SI was 113-115, I'm up 6 from 113 so far. I think I'll go 120's.

Yeah I wouldn't even call what I do a burnout, just a quick clean. I have a remote fob line lock setup I have yet to use. I was going to velcro it where I hold the steering wheel. Driving with a hand control is like driving w only one hand, one foot. I have to work on my coordination in a parking lot first to get comfortable w the line lock burnout so I don't look like a knucklehead at the track burnout box. Thanks for the burnout tip since you have the 6l80.
I would have liked to have picked up 6mph. How much rwhp did you gain with h/c?
As far as shifts I'm still using the mostly stock shift points of 6500.

Looked at your graph. Looks similar to mine just more power. I'd shift yours at 6800-7k if you're comfortable with it. I was shifting at 64/6500 for awhile. Shifting higher dropped me a couple tenth and gained me a little mph. I still say you should be higher going through the traps.
Maybe I missed it but what gears are you running?

2.56 which really sounds low but due to the steep 1-3 gearing of the 6l80 it's comparable to a 3.73 & 4 speed auto for gears 1-3.

Honestly wish I logged my runs because I'm not sure I'm always getting wot with my hand control throughout the run. Sometimes it short shifts which leads me to believe it's not wot at the time it short shifts well below 6k. I won't know for sure what's up until I either get back to the track (soon) or Dyno it again and make sure a bunch of horses haven't escaped from the stable some how. At least I picked up 4 mph in the 1/8! lol

Higher stall and a set of 275/45/17's on 17" rims along with a stalling it up will get you the best results. I did a 1.55 60' and 11.0 making about 440rwhp in my vette. That was with a low trans fluid problem otherwise the car would have been solidly in the 10's. I would look at an SS 3600 stall.

Yep bigger stall and smaller drag radial is in my future, not to mention a lot of practice. Going to Dyno tues morn to see if car is still putting out what it's suppose to be putting out.
That's a nice gain in power John. It would be cool to see your car run at GLD sometime this summer.
