How many 8 or 9 second LS1s are there on pump gas?

9.13 @ 149
93 octane Pump gas primary tank, C16 nitrous fuel cell
408, hydraulic cam, AFR 225s, LS6 intake, Stock ported TB, direct port
Powerglide, 3420 raceweight

doc otis went 9.70s back a long time ago on a mild 408 only on pump gas. i think its 91-92 octane out in st louis too.

374, hydraulic cam, tea 5.3's, LS6 intake, Stock ported TB, tnt wet kit

Yes, and that's what I posted. I've never chest pounding about pump gas anything. Just posted up where I have some information that might be relative.

That's why I didn't put my 9.5 pass, that was with a mix of 93/104 in the tank.

Tosto - Thanks. You have one of the baddest 4th gens ever.

Oner - Thank you also.

Just to make sure nobody missed it, I did run C16 (116 octane) in the fuel cell that feeds the nitrous. So y'all can discount my run as not being a true pump gas car.

PSJ - The shop called, I think they have another dyno race lined up for you.

Good to know, lots of pumps down there in FL with C16?

My runs were all C16, but my next 10 passes will not.

I'm hunting to do so... I put down the numbers in my sig on stock heads. Gonig with some dart stg 3 heads and then a tnt wet kit (250). You guys think that'll get me in the ballpark?

If you can get the car to hook and run straight down the track it should run a pretty good ways into the 9's

Making the power to run 9s with that setup will be easy, keeping it together on pump gas is the hard part, especially with a heavy car

So pretty much 9.7s 9.9s is the area of the fastest pump gas cars right now.

Im surprised about the nitrous cars, Id expect some turbo cars with water injection.
