1st Time @ The Track w/ New H/C Setup

1st Time @ The Track w/ New H/C Setup Got to the 1/4 mile track in Noble, OK tonight. Weather was very humid (not sure exactly what) temps were around 100* when I got there at 8:30 and cooled to mid 80s by the time I left.
It was a good time, despite the fact that I was sweating the minute I got out of my car to tech in til I left at 11:30.
Had alot of fun with the car and the new setup. Heres the breakdown of the night (ran on convo pro skinnies, and stock 99 z28 wheels with m/t et street radials - 255/50/16s)
First pass was a 12.0 @ 115 w/ a 1.90 60'
Second pass was a 11.88 @ 116 w/ a 1.85 60'
Third thru Fifth passes were around 11.8x @ 116 w 60's in the 1.8x's
Finally got the best run of the night, 11.71 @ 116.9 w/ a 1.69 60'
Overall I'm happy with the numbers, considering the previous best cam only and stock 99 heads on the m/t et street radials, in 50* weather was 11.85 @ 115 and consistent 12.0s@114.
I know the car has more in it considering it was hot as crap all night long and the 60' can improve. The prep was great and I didn't have much traction issues though. Can't wait to get some suspension stuff lined out, drop a little weight out of the car and get some cold air again!

I was there last night and was impressed, I was trying to find your car so i could see what you had done to it, now i know. That heat was horrible i tried to let my car cool down for an hour and it only dropped 4*. Awesome runs.

tektrans - Thanks, I'm going to try and drop some weight out of the car....what did you do to drop yours down to 3350...thats with you in it right? Is it a t-top or hard top car?
rubadubdub - thanks...sugars??? ahhh heard some scary **** about that place, like nasty women I've seen before around norman gettin up on stage and doin things I don't wanna see OR hear about LOL!
The cam is a comp on xer lobes, 242/248 .610/.615 on a 110+2 lsa (based on a t-rex).
00silver/taws6 - I think I saw your car out there, there were quite a few fbodies. Yeah that weather was awful, I let it cool for a couple times for about 30-45 mins but that didn't help me much...I had better luck hot lapping it at the end haha
