Default 2.0 60' on 3500stall, 4.11's and DR's???

Alright so its not the LS1 we're talking about now but our '74 Z28. Tonight was the first night we got to run it after we did a full tune up after the heads install and we shaved a half a second off our e/t which was nice but I know the 60' is costing us a LOT of time to be had. We have a 3500 stall that usually stalls to about ~2700-3000 with the footbrake, 4.11 gears, and 10" Street Slicks out back so I mean compared to others with similar setups on here it seems like we should be cutting some 1.5-1.7 60' times but instead the best time we could pull off is a 2.0 I'm still getting used to the stall as it made the car a completely different beast to launch afterwards but I still thought it should be way better than this. Whats goin on here??? I know if I could get it down to a 1.6 or so that would shave another good chunk off the e/t and combined with tonights gains we could shave nearly a second off our previous times.

Was the car spinning?
To me it seems like it's the tire that you're using.

Nope, no slipping the tires are more than enough to hold it as far as I can tell. They are 26x11.50 "cheater slicks" with just the two grooves cut in them. It just doesn't add up and I'm stumped...
