Is there a rule about how close the seat can be to the main hoop of the roll bar/cage? I'm putting seats in and the top of the seat is pretty close to the hoop. I want to make sure I'm not going to catch hell @ tech about it.

As far as I know ( I might be wrong ) but there's not a rule about seat clearance w/ the main hoop. I would, however, say that for comfort issues, I'd lower the seat some. You gotta think about how tall you are, plus the height of the seat, plus the added height of your helmet. I don't know about you, but if my helmet was hitting the MH every time I got in the car, I would be pretty aggravated.
