Framehorn Pictures.... Can I cut more???
Just did cut the frame horns.
I have a few questions before I put everything back together....
1) There is a mounting hole on each framehorn. See, on this picture of the passenger side.... it has the square demarkation around it.
On the driverside is it further back allowing me to cut off more of the horn... see, it has the same square demarkation around it.
Do I need to keep these? I can't rememeber what they mount too... If it is the bumper support then I cut deeper (especially on the passenger's side).
2) Can I cut any more of the radiator support?
The screw holes are where the airdam mounts right???? That is important for airodynamics correct?
But Taubrunit seems to have cut them off leaving very little metal.

The 5 holes in the rad support are for the air damn to bolt to. Its deff an important piece in the cooling system. The holes with the squares around them are for the factory horns to bolt to. So you really don't need them unless you plan on putting the horns back on.

So If I cut the passengers side horn in a similar manner to the Drivers side I should be ok from a structural standpoint??
Im saw alot of people angle the cuts backward... but it seems like you could shave off an extra few pounds if you do a straight cut like I did on the drivers side. Any opinions.
