I couldnt find a good block off either. I ended up making 2 plugs out of alum. and then using a 3" or so heater hose. not a single leak yet!! I have seen people use bolts aswell. the look of the alum. plug looks better then a bolt, and also makes the hose look not so bad.

if you know someone that works in a machine shop they could make a set fast. took me 20 min. on a chucker while eating my lunch. pm me if you want to see what it looks like.

I just bought some the other day, got them from Orielly auto parts, they were in the thermostat section. Came with a bunch of different sizes, was about 6 bucks.

ok. I get the idea. I just didn't know I could cap off the lines like that. I was worried the car could overheat, I thought maybe there had to be a loop there to prevent that.

I had some trouble with those plugs. They failed and started leaking, they weren't reinforced like a radiator hose is.
I pulled the barbs out of the pump, and welded them shut. Not for the average do it yourselfer, but just wanted to let people know to keep an eye on those rubber caps.

My buddy just took a peice of hose and looped it, then heat core was removed so it was no longer a factor.

Yea. Just loop it and cap the heater core. PCM4LESS makes some covers for it.
